Ordinary use
The main component of Apcalis-SX Oral Jelly is tadalafil.
Tadalafil is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, in men. It supports the bodies physical response to sexual stimulation. It uses nitric oxide, a chemical normally released in response to sexual stimulation, to relax muscles. The increased muscle relaxation makes it easier for blood to be pumped into certain areas of the penis, which in turn leads to an erection.
Dosage and instructions
Tadalafil is used only when needed, ideally about one hour before sexual activity. However, the advantage of Apcalis-SX in oral jelly form, is that it can be taken and prove beneficial in as little as 15-30 minutes before you have sex.
Do not take Apcalis-SX Oral Jelly more than once a day, as a single dose can remain effective for up to 24 hours.
Drinking a full glass of water at the same time as taking the gel is recommended.
Precautions
As is prudent before using any drugs, you should consult your doctor to determine that it is suitable for you. Especially if you are taking other medications, have existing medical conditions, or are susceptible to allergies.
Additionally, older people may be more sensitive to the known side effects.
Contraindication
Problems may arise if you take Apcalis-SX with other drugs that also treat impotence, or any other nitrate-based drug used to treat chest pain or heart problems.
This medication should not be used by women, or children.
Possible side effects
The most common side effects of tadalafil are headache, flushing of the face, rapid heartbeat, stomach discomfort, nasal congestion, dizziness or diarrhea.
A serious allergic reaction to these drugs is very rare. However, if it does occur, seek medical assistance right away. Most people do not experience any side effects when taking this drug.

Drug interaction
This medication should not be used in conjunction with other drugs
– containing nitrates, so-called “poppers” containing amyl and butyl nitrates
– alpha blockers
– other drugs for impotence
– medicines for high blood pressure

Missed intake
Apcalis-SX is only used when needed, because of this, you are unlikely to miss a dose.
Overdose
If you feel that you may have taken too much of this medication, please get medical help right away. Symptoms of an overdose are usually chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, or fainting.
Storage
Store the medicine at room temperature (20-25 degrees Celsius) in a dark and dry place. Do not store the drug in the bathroom. Keep all medication in a place out of reach of children and pets.
